Letters sent via Pingen to recipients in Germany are printed locally and delivered by Deutsche Post either as Standardbrief, Economy or Einschreiben Einwurf (registered mail). Letters sent abroad are either printed locally in the destination country and delivered by a local postal provider or sent internationally via DHL.
Letters within Germany are delivered within 1–3 business days, depending on the selected mailing option. Standardbrief and Einschreiben Einwurf are often delivered by Deutsche Post on the next business day, while Economy usually takes 2–3 business days. Pingen prints letters submitted in the morning and hands them over to Deutsche Post on the same business day, enabling next-business-day delivery with Standardbrief and Einschreiben Einwurf.
Pingen provides detailed status information for every letter throughout the entire mailing process – from transfer and processing to printing and handover to Deutsche Post. For letters sent by registered mail, detailed postal tracking and proof of delivery are also available directly in Pingen.
Yes, for letters sent as Einschreiben Einwurf in Germany, Pingen provides the official delivery confirmation from Deutsche Post. For Standardbrief and Economy, Deutsche Post does not provide delivery confirmation, so Pingen cannot directly confirm delivery. However thanks to Pingen's automatic return processing, undeliverable letters are identified and marked accordingly.
Yes, with Pingen letters can be sent by registered mail to Germany as well as France, Belgium, Spain, Liechtenstein and Switzerland. Tracking and official proof of delivery are also available in Pingen depending on the local postal provider.
Pingen is designed for organizations of all sizes looking to digitize and automate their postal mail in Germany and internationally. From associations, startups and SMEs to large enterprises, Pingen makes it easy to send invoices, payment reminders, contracts and other business correspondence via the WebApp, integrations or API.
Yes, Pingen has no minimum volume or monthly subscription. Even a single letter can be sent with Pingen and delivered via Deutsche Post, while the platform also scales seamlessly to recurring and high-volume mailings. However, if you only need to send letters occasionally, we recommend using superpost instead.
